Dr. Chelsea Barker spent most of her years growing up in Arizona. There she fostered an early love for horses, and moved to Kentucky to do her undergraduate studies in equine science. During her time there she worked at Hagyard Equine Hospital where she gained further interest in medicine and working with pets and their owners. She went to Utah State University and Washington State University for veterinary school graduating in 2021. She fell in love with the PNW after doing many externships and adventures out this way, and she settled down on the Peninsula. As a veterinarian, her interests are largely in surgery, dentistry, integrative medicine, and preventative care. She enjoys spending her free time with her partner, three dogs (two border collies, one rough collie) two cats, and flock of chickens and ducks. She participates in many different dog sports, hiking, camping, kayaking, and dabbles in pet and nature photography.
